Prepare a PDF from HEIF Images

HEIF is a container family that can organize image items and related information. A PDF is a sequence of pages. Determine whether the source is one photo, a group, or a sequence and make sure the intended images are represented in the document.

If several images belong in one record, define their order and page labels. A PDF can provide a straightforward reading sequence, but it does not preserve the original container's browsing or capture relationships. Keep the source file when those relationships matter.

Look at faces, bright areas, shadows, and any color-critical object. Image profiles may be interpreted differently in PDF readers or printers. Confirm that the output matches the intended appearance and does not rotate a photo unexpectedly.

If a photo was captured in a sequence, make sure the correct frame was selected. A similar-looking image may show a different moment. Use filenames or captions to identify each page without adding claims about capture time that the source does not support.

Treat the PDF as a document copy and retain HEIF sources until the receiving party accepts the handoff. Give the PDF a name that identifies its subject and revision without exposing private details in a public filename.

Review every page for background information and ensure that no unintended image was included. For official submissions, confirm page size, image requirements, and file limits with the receiver. Conversion does not prove authenticity or confirm acceptance.
