Clear terms for responsible use

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of EveryFileConvert.

These Terms are effective and were last updated on August 6, 2026.

EveryFileConvert is an independently operated online service offering file conversion, viewing, editing, and related tools.

By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use EveryFileConvert.

You may use the service only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms; otherwise a parent or authorized guardian must approve and supervise use.

Tools and supported formats depend on browser, device, file, and technical capability. Availability and features may change without guaranteeing continued support for a particular operation.

Supported operations generally run locally in your browser unless a tool clearly discloses a different method before processing. Files may remain temporarily in browser memory.

You retain ownership of your files, and EveryFileConvert does not claim ownership of them. You must have the rights and permissions needed to process each selected file.

Use EveryFileConvert for lawful personal or business file tasks in a manner that respects other people, their rights, and reasonable technical limits.

You must not use the service for malware, fraud, phishing, unlawful content, copyright or privacy violations, security attacks or probing, rate-limit evasion, unauthorized automation or access, or files you lack the right to process.

Reasonable technical, usage, format, browser, or security limits may apply. Attempts to bypass limits or place excessive load on the service may be restricted.

Conversion and preview fidelity is not guaranteed. Layouts, fonts, formulas, metadata, animation, embedded content, color, timing, or other features may change or be omitted.

Keep backups of important files and inspect outputs before relying on them. You are responsible for lawful use, file selection, compatibility, and the consequences of using an output.

EveryFileConvert retains rights in its service, branding, design, and original materials. No license is granted except the limited right to use the service under these Terms.

Open-source components remain governed by their licenses. Optional third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices, which you should review before use.

Advertisements and external links may be supplied or controlled by third parties. Their content, availability, destinations, and practices are outside EveryFileConvert’s control.

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features or access for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, legal reasons, or service development.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available without promises of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, accuracy, fitness, or error-free results.

To the extent permitted by law, EveryFileConvert is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from service use, unavailable features, or changed or lost files.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer protections, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after publication means the revised Terms apply from their stated effective date.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver, and headings are for readability.

English is the source version of these Terms. Translations are provided for accessibility; mandatory local rights continue to apply, and the source version controls only where law permits.
